Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born on the 20th of February, 2003. She is an American actor, singer, and producer. In the late 2010s, she gained fame for her role as the lead actress in Disney's TV shows Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License" was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke numerous records and was among the most popular songs of 2021. It helped propel her to mainstream stardom. It was followed by three singles "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her debut solo studio album, Sour (2021), which received critical as well as commercial success, and was awarded three Grammy Awards. A Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U, chronicling her musical process and process of creation with Sour was released in 2022.Rodrigo has earned two Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles and one Billboard 200 number-one album, and five multi-Platinum awards from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Alongside other awards she also won an American Music Award seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time listed her as one of the 2021 Entertainers of the Year while Billboard announced her as the Woman of The Year in 2022.
Rodrigo has received many awards for her contribution to music which included three Grammy Awards. [111] Billboard recognized Rodrigo with the Women of the Year award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. In addition, she was given the honor of being named "Songwriter of the year" by Variety in 2021 [113] and at the 2022 ASCAP Awards. [114]
